Do you have any special products or unusual product lines?

We partner with manufacturers from all over the world—China, Nepal, Jakarta, India, Australia, Scotland, England, and the U.S., and our selection is extensive. Our rugs are either hand-knotted, hand-tufted, or machine-made construction using various fibers from wool and silk to cotton and jute.

What makes your products and services special and what is their appeal?

We are committed to providing total custom service with creative design flexibility within the specified budget and design guidelines.

What is the most exciting new product or development in your field?

Just like the rest of the world, advances in technology have had an impact on our field. Computers, the Internet, and immediate communication channels in general allow us to expedite the design process—projects take almost half the time they took before these developments.

How has your field changed in the last two to three years?

Because the world is moving so rapidly, we can work with a wide network of people and communicate worldwide in a 24-hour period. Our market place has become an international one.

How do you prefer to work with others on the project team?

From conception and creative development to production and installation, our projects are only successful when executed as a team. We work closely with the design professional and client to ensure satisfaction, and we follow through to installation.

What is your level of involvement in an installation?

Our installation team is there from the very beginning discussing the options and guidelines for a project to be well executed. We partner with mechanics in our industry who have the capability and expertise to handle these custom projects. They are trustworthy and dependable.

Is there a particular project that you are most proud of?

We had the privilege of recreating the handmade rug in the Gold Room at the Utah State Capitol.

What do you enjoy most about living and working in Utah?

Utah is my home! I was born and raised here. Regardless of wherever and whenever I travel, it is always a gift to return.

If you were not in the field you are! What would you be doing?

In my next life, I would be a veterinarian.
