About

For 10 years, Western Home Journal, the Luxury Mountain Home Architecture | Construction | Design Resource has succeeded as a proven medium for speaking to a sophisticated mountain audience. Comprised of two efforts, regional print publications and an optimized website, WHJ markets advertisers to both local and international audiences. The print publications are published bi-annually in Bend, Oregon; Bozeman and Big Sky, Montana; Flathead Valley, Montana; Jackson Hole, Wyoming; Park City, Utah; and Sun Valley, Idaho. The magazines are available free of charge, and distributed in highly-targeted locations throughout each represented region. As more families and individuals of all ages move to or establish second homes in resort communities in the Intermountain West, Western Home Journal has proven itself to be a top-tier resource in luxury custom home design. Our purpose is to market the luxury mountain home architecture, design and construction industry to this most conspicuous demographic.

Published by Showdown Holdings, LLC, Western Home Journal is based in Ketchum, Idaho, near the world-famous ski and recreation resort, and home to many of the West’s luxury home professionals, Sun Valley, Idaho. Showdown Holdings is represented by a highly experienced and talented team of individuals with backgrounds in – and a keen understanding of – the magazine publishing, graphic design, and digital worlds.
