Do you have any special certifications or specialties?
I’m a licensed general contractor and I’ve been in the trades for over 25 years.
When did you know that you wanted to go into this field and what motivated you?
When I remodeled my first garage for a man who recently had lost a loved one. When we finished the project he was in awe that his garage could look so good and that, in a small way, seemed to be a form of healing for him. Knowing that I was involved in creating a new space that made someone so happy was incredibly rewarding.
What services do you offer?
We can design and deliver the garage of your dreams from a blank template or from an over-cluttered, overwhelming, forgotten space. We offer garage design, epoxy floor coatings, concrete acid stain, garage cabinetry, overhead storage, and organized wall storage, as well as any trade work involved in the remodel of your soon to be Ultimate Garage.
What project(s) are you most excited about right now?
Several large garages we have at the moment as well as one in which we were able to install a Jeep hardtop hoist.
Do you have favorite products you prefer or are known for?
Our color-coordinated flooring and cabinetry.
What word(s) do people use to describe your work?
Incredible, organized, clean, and exceptional.
What do you enjoy most about your line of work?
Giving homeowners the reward of a completely finished and organized space.
How did you get your start?
As a young man my father would take me to work in our auto repair shop, so I grew up understanding the value of hard work.
If you weren’t in your field, what would you be doing?
I would have tried to pursue life as a professional athlete—something that I am passionate about now but only recreationally.
What’s on the top of your list as a great getaway?
Chile, or somewhere in the Pacific Islands.
What do you enjoy most about living and working where you do?
I moved to Park City 10 years ago for love of the outdoors, and still feel blessed to live, recreate, and work here.
Favorite season and why?
Spring because summer is soon to follow.
Do you have a favorite sport or recreational activity, and what do you enjoy about it?
Living and working in Park City I have to say I’m blessed with some of the best mountain biking terrain in the lower 48. I love the outdoors and spend as much of my free time that I can trail running, mountain biking, swimming and kayaking, and snowboarding. Park City has it all for me and I could not see myself living and having so many activities anywhere as this place offers.
What is sure to make you laugh?
I would have to say anything from SNL’s Will Farrell era…those were some good years
If you had just one wish today, what would it be?
World peace.
