What Products and Services do you offer?

Peppertree Kitchen and Bath is proud to offer both new house design and remodel construction projects. We manufacture and install the highest quality cabinetry for high-end homes in Salt Lake, Park City, Vail, Colorado, Jackson Hole Wyoming, Tahoe and Big Sky Montana among other locations.

How has your field change in the last two-three years?

We have seen a shift in the market to a more contemporary design. We have been faced with, and we have met, many challenges with our designers and contractors. We are proud to say that each challenge has been met with only the highest quality of workmanship—the type of work that our customers have come to expect from Peppertree Kitchen and Bath. Our contractors have been pleased at our “always say yes” attitude, and the results we are producing. Our design services have grown and that is both exhilarating and rewarding. We look forward to continued growth in the years to come.

What other specialties do you have in-house?

Peppertree Kitchen and Bath has a full team of designers, a fully functioning showroom, and a manufacturing plant right on site. Our designers are involved from start to finish, and that level of involvement ensures the high level of quality that we are known for. As owners, Doug and I are also hands-on in the production side of our cabinetry.

What is the most exciting new product or development in your field?

The excitement for us right now is the move towards contemporary design. The horizontal grain that we are producing is absolutely beautiful. The creativity is refreshing, the lines are clean, and the matching grain brings it all together. The way designers are matching the wood grain with solid paint colors is producing beautiful results.

Do you have any training for installations that is important to clients?

We have an installation manager who pre-measures all our jobs to ensure that the installation goes as smoothly as possible. We also have in-house installers that are equally committed to a beautiful finish. We scribe all our end panels and fillers, creating a higher quality product.

What word do people use to describe your work?

Our clients refer to our product line as beautiful, amazing , gorgeous, incredible, breathtaking, and unmatched. Each time we hear these compliments it strengthens our resolve to continue to push our selves in the industry and to create new finishes, looks, and designs—we are committed to continuing the tradition that started over 28 years ago.

What do you enjoy most about your business?

As owner of Peppertree, I enjoy the relationships I have built with our clients. I enjoy being part of a building their dream kitchen, helping them realize the beauty cabinetry can add to a home, and seeing the look on their faces when they see the finished product. Another aspect I enjoy is getting out in the shop with my business partner and building cabinetry that will carry on our traditions. Peppertree Kitchen and Bath has been in business since 1986 and I have had the opportunity to be the General Manager since its inception. In November 2012, my business partner, Doug Nuffer, and I purchased the business. With the purchase, our roles with the company have not changed dramatically.

How did you get your start here?

Prior to Peppertree Kitchen and Bath, I worked with the former owner, Steve Sewell. Steve was impressed with my work ethic and extended me the offer to be the General
Manager. Doug joined Peppertree 15 years ago, he was persistent and willing to learn. He has been one of our greatest assets.

Do you have a favorite non-profit or community group that you are involved with?

Angelshands Foundation is a non-profit organization that helps terminally ill children a have a better quality of life. Peppertree Kitchen and Bath is proud to be a sponsor for
the 2014 year, and look forward to being involved for many years to come.
