Scot Broughton Architects strives to produce quality projects with exceptional service and professionalism. Approaching every project as a collaboration, our firm involves the client as a vital part of the team to develop a sense of personal achievement. SBA brings a wide range of experience and technical expertise in various building types to provide assistance in planning, design, and construction.
Based in Basalt Colorado, SBA has been involved in projects in and outside the Aspen Valley for over 15 years and strives to establish projects of original design, environmental awareness, and timeless quality. Available from SBA is a staff of professional and support personal with varying levels of specialties in the design, production, and construction processes.
Our work has included reviewing proposed sites, developing architectural programs, providing Schematic Design packages for fundraising, taking projects through the Planning and Zoning process, Historical Architectural review processes, as well as the design of facilities and seeing them through construction. Experience with local jurisdiction entities is diverse with success on Public Housing and Historically significant projects, meeting Growth Management System requirements, achieving passing marks for Efficient and Environmental Building programs, and approval of 20-year development master plans.
