Legendary nature photographer Thomas D. Mangelsen was heavily influenced growing up along the Platte River in Nebraska with his family observing the great flocks of ducks, geese, and cranes that migrate through the valley. In 1978, Mangelsen opened his first Mangelsen—Images of Nature Gallery in Jackson. Today, Mangelsen has grown to eight galleries throughout the nation. Henry H. Holdsworth’s wildlife photography is the mainstay of
Wild By Nature gallery. Holdsworth’s photographs reveal rich color, composition, and light for all his subjects. At the heart of Holdsworth’s photography is his great appreciation for nature and its preservation. His images are used regularly by leading publications including National Geographic, Nature’s Best, National Wildlife, and Wildlife Conservation.
