Centrally located in Colorado’s Vail Valley, The Scarab has been scouting out these one-of-a-kind rugs for more than 20 years. They have trekked to the weavers’ countries, dye shops, and looms. They have seen how the color of the sky and other natural inspirations are transformed through weaving into pieces of art that will warm homes thousands of miles away.

“We have filtered out the mediocre,” says Larry Stone, proprietor “and sourced a collection of rugs from over 30 of the most creative and talented master weavers in the world. These suppliers follow Good Weave practices and prices are based on fair trade.”

With each rug-buying trip in the U.S. and abroad, The Scarab team brings back beautiful pieces in a wide array of styles and sizes. They also return with exciting insights about the latest colors and design trends, ready to educate their clients and support the design community.

The Scarab is well known in the Vail Valley and neighboring mountain resort towns, providing rugs for countless residences and hotels. Each year their rugs and reputation for first class service travel further as design partners engage them to finish projects across the county.
